How OPTCG.ONE works
What this site does
OPTCG.ONE is a community-built database and analytics platform for Bandai's One Piece Trading Card Game. The site indexes every released card, tracks tournament-winning decklists from competitive events worldwide, and calculates leader performance statistics from ranked play data.
Everything is free. No accounts, no paywalls, no ads. Card pages link to TCGplayer with affiliate tagging, which is how the site covers hosting costs.
Data pipeline
Card data refreshes daily via automated sync. New cards appear the day TCGplayer lists them. Tournament decklists are aggregated from regional events, store championships, and online tournaments across Western and Eastern play regions.
The site currently indexes:
- Every booster set from OP01 through the latest release, plus Extra Boosters, Starter Decks, and promos
- Tournament decklists sourced from competitive events and ranked play
- Daily TCGplayer market prices on every card
How win rates are calculated
The meta page shows leader performance from ranked ladder matches. Raw win rates are calculated as wins divided by total games for each leader. The tier list uses Bayesian-adjusted win rates, which correct for sample size: a leader with 50 matches and a 60% win rate is not treated the same as a leader with 5,000 matches and a 55% win rate. The Bayesian prior pulls small-sample leaders toward the global average, so only leaders with enough data can reach S or A tier.
Data is split by region (West and East) because the metagames differ. The matchup matrix shows head-to-head win percentages between any two leaders, filtered by the same regional and format constraints.

- Full 50-card compositions from competitive events. Filterable by leader, set, and date. Each deck links to TCGplayer for one-click purchasing.
- Deck builder
- Build and validate 50-card decks with real-time color and copy-limit enforcement. Import/export text lists. One-click TCGplayer mass-entry to buy the full deck.
- Meta and tier list
- Leader win rates, Bayesian tiers, and head-to-head matchup matrices across current and past formats.
- Articles
- Monthly meta snapshots with data-driven analysis, first/second split breakdowns, and consensus decklists.
Technical details
The site is built with Astro (fully static, no server runtime) and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Every page is pre-rendered at build time and served from Cloudflare's edge network. Page load times are typically under 2 seconds on mobile (99/100 PageSpeed score, all Core Web Vitals in the "Good" tier per Chrome UX Report field data).
The site is fully static with no server-side runtime, built and deployed automatically on every data update.
